What eNsight does, what it doesn't, and what happens to your data. If something you need isn't here, ask us and we'll add it.
Getting started
How long does it take to set up?
An afternoon. You create your organization, add the outlets a campaign covers, set the metrics it's measured on, and invite your team by email.
There's nothing to install on your side and no implementation project. The people who take longest are usually the ones deciding what to measure, not the ones using the software.
Do my agents need training?
No. They open a link, sign in, and the app shows them the outlet they're at and the numbers to enter.
It was built for people who are standing up, on their own phone, in a busy shop. If it needed a training day it wouldn't get used.
Can I run more than one campaign at a time?
Yes, and most agencies do. Each campaign has its own outlets, targets, metrics and team.
Campaigns are kept separate from each other, which matters when you're running two brands that compete.
Can I bring in data from a campaign that's already running?
You can start a campaign mid-flight and go forward from there. Historical visits from a spreadsheet aren't self-serve to import yet — talk to us and we'll help.
The field app
Is there an app to download from the App Store?
No, and that's deliberate. Agents open a link and can add it to their home screen, where it behaves like any other app.
It means you can onboard an agent in the time it takes to send a message, and there's no approval queue between you and a fix.
What happens when an agent has no signal?
The visit is saved on their phone and sent by itself once there's a network. The agent doesn't have to do anything or remember to try again.
This is the single most common situation in the field, so it's the case the app is designed around rather than an edge case it handles.
How do you know an agent was really at the outlet?
Check-in records where they were, and it's compared against where the outlet is. You see whether the visit happened at the location it was meant to.
Combined with the timestamp and the photos, that's what turns a claim into something you can put in front of a client.
Does it use a lot of their data?
No. The app loads very little, and photos are shrunk on the phone before they're sent, so your agents aren't spending their own bundle on uploads.
What phones does it work on?
Any reasonably current Android or iPhone with a browser. It was tested against mid-range Android handsets on slow connections, because that's what field teams actually carry.
Reports & data
What do I actually hand the client?
A campaign deck as PowerPoint or PDF, or a live link they can open any time. Both are built from the visits as they come in, so nothing has to be assembled at the end.
There's also a short daily summary that goes out by email automatically.
Can the client see my agents' names or what I pay them?
No. There are two versions of every report. Yours keeps agent names, flagged visits and costs; the client's never contains them.
That's decided before the report leaves, so forwarding a client link can't turn it back into your internal copy.
What if an agent submits something wrong?
Flag it. A flagged visit comes out of every count and total immediately, and the agent gets an email explaining why so they can put it right.
Nothing is silently deleted — you keep the history of what was submitted and what was decided about it.
Can I export my data?
Yes, at any time. Every record, photo and report belongs to your organization, and you can take all of it with you.
Can I put my own branding on it?
Yes. Your logo and your colours apply across the whole workspace and every report that leaves it, and you can set light or dark for your organization.
Access & security
We run two brands that compete. Can they see each other?
No. Access is set per campaign, and someone who isn't on a campaign can't reach it, whatever address they type or link they're forwarded.
This isn't a matter of hiding menu items — the separation holds underneath the interface.
What are the roles?
Five: admin, campaign manager, supervisor, brand manager and field agent. Each sees only what its job needs.
An admin runs the organization. A campaign manager sees the campaigns they were put on. A supervisor approves or flags their own agents' work. A brand manager gets the client-side view. An agent sees their own assignments and progress.
Can an agent's login open the dashboard?
No. The field app and the dashboard are separate sign-ins and each turns away the other's accounts. Dashboard sessions also close themselves when left idle.
Where is our data kept, and is it encrypted?
On established managed cloud infrastructure, encrypted both in transit and at rest, and backed up continuously.
No copies of your records live anywhere else, and we don't sell or share any of it.
Do you have SOC 2 or ISO 27001?
Not today, and we'd rather say so than imply otherwise. eNsight holds no formal certification yet and hasn't been through an external penetration test.
If your procurement process needs either, tell us where you are in it and we'll give you a real answer about timing rather than a badge.
You track where our agents are. Is that a problem?
It's legitimate, but it's yours to handle properly. Location is captured at check-in and submission, not continuously, and never outside working hours.
You're responsible for telling your field team that it happens and having a lawful basis for it. Our privacy policy sets out exactly what's collected.
How do we report a security issue?
Write to security@ensightapp.com. We'll confirm we've received it and keep you posted on the fix.
Pricing & support
How does pricing work?
By plan, based on how much you're running. There's a free tier to start with and we don't ask for a card to try it.
See the pricing page for what each plan includes, or talk to us if you're not sure which fits.
Do I pay per agent?
Talk to us. We'd rather size it against how many campaigns and outlets you actually run than charge you for every seasonal agent you onboard for a week.
What if we stop using it?
Cancel any time and your subscription runs to the end of the period you've paid for. Export whatever you want to keep before then.
How do we get help?
Email hello@ensightapp.com. You'll get a person, not a ticket queue.
